Zacks Smokin Hawk is an intelligent, curious, and handsome gelding with a friendly disposition. He is a pleasure to work with on the ground and in the saddle. This horse can go in direction. He has an investigative personality, and is eager to check out new things. He loves to work, especially with cattle, and aims to please. Additionally, he loves people and the attention they give him.

Carley is a fourth year Animal Science major with an Equine Science minor. Prior to attending Cal Poly, she worked with off the track thoroughbreds and competed in hunters and jumpers. She has been heavily involved with the equine programs at Cal Poly, including the mustang, thoroughbred, and quarter horse enterprises. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in equine rehabilitation therapy.
