Student Rider: Liz McGowan

Liz is a third year Animal Science major. She has been riding since she was seven years old, competing around San Diego County as a hunter jumper. Once coming to Cal Poly, she took a liking to western riding and learning to start young horses, hoping to pursue a career in training. She is currently our Hunt Seat Captain for our English Show Team. This will be her first year in the Quarter Horse Enterprise and she is so excited for the opportunities this enterprise will offer, as well as working with these horses!
