Student Rider: Elyse Evers
Elyse is a third year Animal Science major with a minor in Sustainable Agriculture. Coming from SLO, she has been riding since she was young, starting in the English discipline as a hunter jumper. When she came to Cal Poly she switched disciplines to western, using her skills to work cattle off of horseback, learn how to rope, and enjoys trail riding with her friends. This will be her first year in the Quarter Horse Enterprise and she is excited for all of the opportunities and learning moments these gifted horses will give her!
