Student Riders: Maggie Roth and Claire Fitzgerald
Maggie is a fourth year animal science major and this is her first year in the enterprise. She has ridden most of her life, growing up in 4-H and competing in a variety of disciplines and then switching over to three-day Eventing which she has been competing with three of her horses in for the last 10 years. She has had the opportunity to work with and train some young horses throughout her years of riding and is excited to learn and grow even more through this wonderful group of horses, riders, and opportunities.
Claire is a second-year animal science student on the pre-veterinary track. She has been riding horses most of her life. With foundational skills in equitation and english show jumping, Claire has ridden in various disciplines, currently focusing on reining and cow horse. Entering her first year in the enterprise, she is excited to hone her horsemanship skills, enhancing the horse-human connection and interaction, and growing as a rider.
