CP Neon Boon, also known as Rue, is a courageous and calculated mare with quiet confidence. While she may start off shy, she blossoms into a steady and self-assured partner who gives her rider her full attention. Rue is deliberate in her work, thoughtful in every maneuver, and naturally graceful in her movement. With her balance, poise, and confidence, she shows strong potential as an all-around competitor, trail horse, or future NRCHA prospect.

By: BOON TOO SUEN (2005) AQHA sorrel stallion. A $7 Million Dollar Sire and NCHA World Champion Stallion with offspring earning nearly $5 M in competition across cutting, team roping, barrels, reined cow horse, ranch sorting, and ranch versatility events. Boon Too Suen was a 2018, 2019, and 2020 NCHA Top 20 Leading Sire with 175 money-earners averaging $27,787. In the show pen he was Brazos Bash Open Derby Co-Champion; South Point Open Derby Champion; Arbuckle Open Classic Reserve Champion; San Antonio World Series of Cutting Co-Reserve Champion; NCHA Open Super Stakes Finalist; Bonanza Cutting Open Classic 3/4th, plus multiple Top 10 finishes including Tunica Cutting 4-Year-Old Open Futurity and West Texas Cutting Open Derby. Boon Too Suen stands via transported cooled semen and is nominated to major incentives including NCHA Super Stakes, NRCHA Stallion Stakes, PCCHA Stallion Stakes, and the Augusta Futurity.

Student Rider: Serafina Madonna

Serafina is a fifth-year Agricultural Communications major. This is her third year doing the quarter horse enterprise and has taken a management role this year as a horse manager. She has been riding her whole life and has been actively training with Phillip Ralls for nearly 6 years. Serafina has won the national championship title for the non-pro boxing division in 2024 and made the World Finals in 2025 placing 9th overall. Serafina has been riding with the Cal Poly Equestrian Team since 2023 which has proven to be a successful endeavor.
