This is an extremely athletic and keen two year old gelding. This horse is one of the best moving horses of his age group. He has great ground coverage with each of his strides, and moves at a steady pace while maintaining a level frame. His love for work makes him easy and enjoyable to work with. This gelding is an exceptional stopper and turns very accurately on a cow. He has all the potential to be an all-around great horse. Back Country Cat was started in training in February 2014.

Recently became a member of the NRHA $1 million sire, and accumulated NRHA lifetime earnings of more than $139,000. 2000 NRHA Futurity open finalist, 2001 NRHA Derby open finalist, 2002 National Reining Breeders Classic open finalist, 2002 NRHA Derby open finalist.
