Banner Cowboy, or “Banner,” is a handsome palomino gelding with hair for days. Stout, strong, and big-moving, he has the athleticism and durability ideal for a ranch prospect. An old soul with a quiet mind, Banner isn’t easily rattled and handles new surroundings with confidence. With his build and natural level-head, he’ll make you a great partner on the ranch or in the showpen. He’s been straightforward and willing to start under saddle, making him a smooth and uncomplicated young prospect.

Student Rider: Jaimie Knode
Jaimie Knode is a fourth-year Animal Science major on the Pre-Vet track from Bellingham, WA. She grew up competing in 4-H, AQHA, and on her high school equestrian team mostly in Horsemanship. This is her second year in the program and she is looking forward to her first year as a Student Manager! At Cal Poly she has also enjoyed competing on the Western Show Team in IHSA as well as getting experience with starting young horses.
